Simulating a section of the Camosun College campus using Unreal Engine
In this project, I utilized Unreal Engine to create a detailed simulation of a specific section of the Camosun College campus. The image presented here is a snapshot of the environment I meticulously designed to capture the architectural and natural elements of the location. My focus was on achieving a high level of realism by incorporating advanced modeling techniques and utilizing Unreal Engine’s powerful rendering capabilities.
The environment design emphasizes realism, with careful attention given to textures, lighting, and vegetation to accurately replicate the real-world setting. The building structures were modeled with architectural precision, closely matching the actual campus layout. This ensures that the simulation can serve as a valuable visual tool, whether for virtual tours or educational purposes. Although the image is a still snapshot, the environment is fully interactive and could be expanded into virtual reality (VR) or game-based applications.
This project showcases my ability to work with industry-standard tools like Unreal Engine to create immersive and realistic 3D environments. It demonstrates my skills in 3D modeling, texture mapping, lighting, and environment design, all crucial elements in the field of interactive media development.
